Why should I volunteer?
This is probably our most frequently asked question! If you like to save money then you should volunteer! Our volunteers get first pick at all the merchandise. Say there are 3 identical train tables all at different prices, you’ll get pick of the litter! Plus, our volunteers can earn a higher % of their sales!
- Volunteer 2 hours:
- Pay no consignor fee
- Earn the standard 65%
- Shop 7:00 pm presale.
- Volunteer 4 hours:
- Pay no consignor fee
- Earn 70%
- Shop 7:00 pm presale
- Volunteer 8 or more hours:
- Pay no consignor fee
- Earn 75%
- Shop 7:00 pm presale

Can I volunteer if I am pregnant, nursing or need a light-duty shift for other reasons?
Of course! We have light-duty shifts such as consignor registration on drop-off days. There may be other shifts that will work for you as well. Contact Holli at 326.1577 for more information.
Why am I not allowed to bring my child to my volunteer shift?
During the sale is a busy time for our volunteers and we feel it could be dangerous for your child. We know you’ll be busy and may not be able to keep an adequate eye on your child. Exceptions are made for nursing infants but please let us know ahead of time. Nursing infants must be carried in a carrier/wrap. If your child is over 13 they may sign up for their own shift and work alongside you!
I’ve never volunteered before!
That’s perfectly fine! Please arrive about 30 minutes prior to your shift for a little training. Plan your meals around your shift though we will provide some drinks and snacks. Dress comfortably and come ready to have a good time!
